I speak for everyone on the team when I say that I’m completely blown away by the loving response to the video. It’s beyond all of our expectations and we’re so happy that you guys are enjoying the crap out of it!
It’s been a long week of sleepless nights to get this ready for Valentine’s Day so today I’m going to be taking it easy and spending the day with Amy. There will be a return to the normal video schedule by tomorrow but for now it’s time to unwind after the marathon of the past week. Thank you all again for the nonstop support, there will be a charity livestream this Saturday, and expect more cool stuff like this in the future!
Okay but would it be original context or stuff we’ve seen, original; manga; light novel; Hd remakes, 4 different ways now?
Like I don’t know I’d rather have some Ovas with various short stories (Xehanort’s past, Eraqus and Xehanort training, Sora and Riku befriending Kairi for the first time, Sora and Riku meeting for the first time, Kingdom Hearts one from Riku’s perspective, Kingdom Hearts II from Riku’s perspective, some Organization member backstories, maybe some slice of life with Roxas, the fall of Radiant Garden as in the heartless taking over the town and people fleeing in terror/escaping/turning into heartless, Leon and co. growing up in Traverse Town, etc.) than stuff I’ve already seen.
I’m afraid because Disney will be a huge part of it, and I feel that they would try to make it too much like their other shows. They would probably water it down and make it more “friendly” for kids (because there’s a lot in KH that gets really dark for a kids’ game).
Unless they make it Netflix exclusive. There is hope there.
To be fair Kingdom Hearts is the sort of darkness that can get past the censors because there’s no blood and the only people who actually die are bad guys, everyone else gets put into a technically not dead state or doesn’t stay dead for very long. It’s the kind of stuff you have to stop and think about for a moment before you’re like “okay that’s messed up” which is a little bit easier to get past the censors. I mean the games are rated E-10.
Also Gravity Falls is a Disney show? Like I know it’s the exception not the rule but still.
Also if Disney was a huge part of it that would be a first seeing as up until now they haven’t given a crap about KH outside of their copyright profits.
Edit: Also honestly I would rather have Square work on it. They’ve produced anime before they could probably produce this.
Honestly, I actually feel like I would prefer Disney to take charge on a Kingdom Hearts TV show because I’ve seen a lot of Square Enix anime and it usually falls into 3 categories: short or abridged, bad, or all of the above. With Disney I would feel more confident that they’ll go the full monty at least for one season and not let us down on the finale.
Why would you want a long Kh anime though? You’d end up watching stuff that’s already in the games? Also they made the FF XV Brotherhood Ovas and also the “On the Way to a Smile” stuff wasn’t bad. Also they produced Black Butler, Fma and Durarara.
So if you guys don’t know about Epaulette Sharks, you better watch this now! This juvenile is the cutest little sea puppy and he’s always happy to greet us when we come up to the glass.
Also, they walk along the sand using their fins which is amazing to watch.
SVTFOE FANDOM: Marco spent 16 years chasing down Hekapoo to earn those scissors. As a 30 years old man, the safe kid was forced to leave his childhood behind, learning to survive in a cruel, different world. The trauma of coming back to Earth’s timeline, which immediately reverted him back to his 14 years old-self, definitely scarred him for life. It will take days, weeks, maybe months or years for him to adjust to his old life, slowly starting to remember his family, his friends, even though deep down he will always feel like an outcast, as the 30 years old man trapped forever in the body of a teenager he is.
a six year old idea that i’m still apparently into: au where it was the water tribe who attacked, katara and sokka still found aang in the iceberg 100 years later, but then, kind of tried to kill him. luckily aang escaped in time to team up with a pair of plucky young fire nation siblings who ought to have inherited the throne, you know, if the water tribe hadn’t laid waste to their country. mostly, i just like drawing katara in military gear, and enjoy thinking about the political intrigue of two ruling branches of the water tribe.
Be authentic in the way you live life, talk to those who hurt you. Engage in honesty and love, open up and ask those in your life why they are distant. Life is short, it gets muddied by lies and fear.
Be courageous enough to reach out to others, seek forgiveness and redemption in your community. We have been given an opportunity each day to love those around us, all it takes is one step.
Healing starts with communication, communication comes with humility, and humility only comes when we are willing to lay down our lives for others.
Love right now, not tomorrow or the next day, love in this moment and watch it become something beautiful.
